Welcome to Sundance 6, we are happy to have you stay and we hope you enjoy your time in the mountains! Please reach out to us on Airbnb with any questions you might have but we hope to have covered most of the common things here for your convenience.
The information on this site is provided for convenience and may be incorrect or go out of date. Please check all information yourself. We appreciate it if you can notify us of any mistakes.
The house is located at #6 2221 Gondola Way and you have private access to the whole house.
AirBnB will automatically send you a 4 digt door code that works from check-in time to check-out time. Just enter the code in to the keypad on the door and listen for it unlocking before turning the handle. Do not put the code in to the lock box to the side of the door. When you leave the house just pull the door shut, press the 🔒 button and then check it is locked.
Check-in is at 4pm unless otherwise agreed and check-out is at 11.00am. Your door code will not work outside of these times. We are happy to extend early check-in or late check-out where available.
Quiet times are between 10.00pm and 8.00am. Please be respectful of our neighbours.
The road up to the house gets very dark at night. Please ensure you have a torch 🔦 or plenty of battery for your phone torch if you intend to walk back to the house after dark.
Checkout is at 11am unless agreed otherwise. Please ensure you are out by the checkout time to allow our cleaners to prepare the place for the next guest.
We have two number 6 parking spaces available. Please do not park in any other space or allow guests to park in any other space.
The first space is directly outside the house. The second space is on the left as you enter the Sundance complex (see image).
If you park in the wrong space, your vehicle may be towed at your own expense. We accept no responsibility for vehicles towed due to parking in unauthorized spaces. Please ensure you only use the designated number 6 parking spaces.
All the heating is electric with the exception of the gas fire place in the living room. There are carbon monoxide detectors on each floor and they are tested regularly.
Please note. We only have a small hot water tank. Multiple long showers can use all the hot water. It will continually heat but can take some time particularly in colder months.
Coffee: We have a Moccamaster drip coffee machine. It is easy to use, fill with water, grab a filter from the cupboard (top right), add filter to the basket with ground coffee, ensure the jug is snugly underneath and turn on.
Sink: There is a garbage disposal button to the left of the sink. Please be careful when using not to be near the plug hole.
Microwave: Please note, the microwave above the range does not work correctly. There is a separate microwave on the work surface for your use.
Dishwasher: There will be plenty of dish washer tablets below the sink and rinse aid should it need it. Please don't put wine glasses in the dish washer as they tend to break.
Washing machine / tumble dryer: There will be detergent and fabric softener in the cupboard above the fridge freezer. To turn on the tumble dryer you need to hold down the start buttton for a second or two. Please clear the filter if it is covered in lint.
The thermostat for the gas fire place is on the end of the wall by the kitchen before you come down the living room stairs. Just push the bar at the top to the right and it will come on after a few seconds.
There is a second thermostat to the left of the gas fire place one which controls heating in the ceiling of the living room. Just adjust this until it clicks to turn it on and set accordingly.
To operate the TV you only need the Roku buttons:
It will ask you to sign in to your own streaming accounts. We do not have live TV. If you have a laptop of mobile device you can cast to the TV.
We have gravity ski hangers in the entrance for both skis and snowboards. Just lift them up, drop your skis and boards in and they will grip. Please don't worry about damage to the wall.
There is a boot blower for your ski boots, hats/gloves etc. It has a cold blow and warm blow setting, just switch the switch one way or the other. If it's a warm blow the light will show. Note. If you have heat molded boots it is advisable just to use on cold blow setting.
Please do not walk around the house in boots, stick to the tiled area in the entrance.
You can access the lift just by walking down the road - it's on the right.

Some of our favourite places to eat in Whistler are in Creekside within walking distance of the house.
If you go out at night just be aware the road up to the house can be very dark so if you are walking ensure you take a torch.
